The Steinel 34850 HL 2010 E heat gun, equipped with an LCD temperature display, produces airstreams at variable flow rates ranging from 3.6 to 17.6 cubic feet per minute (CFM) and temperatures from 120 to 1,150 degrees Fahrenheit. At the 10.6 and 17.6 CFM airflow stages, the temperature setting can be adjusted in increments of 10 degrees Fahrenheit across the full temperature range. In the 3.6 CFM cool air stage, the temperature is fixed at 120 degrees Fahrenheit.

Resembling a hair dryer in shape, the heat gun features an LCD that displays the temperature settings in 10-degree increments and the actual output temperature when the gun is set to the cool air stage. To extend the coil life and ensure even heat distribution, each coil in the heating element is encapsulated in ceramic.

This versatile heat gun is suitable for a wide range of applications, from applying shrink tubing and activating adhesives to welding and shaping plastics and other heat-sensitive materials.
